...hypnotherapy in central Cirencester - believe in change

I run online group and 1-1 supervision sessions.  These are for qualified hypnotherapists and are based on a solution-focused approach.

Clinical Supervision is a requirement for membership of the major hypnotherapy organisations and is generally regarded as essential to the provision of effective therapy.  For those who have recently qualified there is often confusion as to exactly what supervision is and why it is so important to good practice:-

What is supervision?

Supervision is a structured support system that encourages the therapist to focus on their abilities, knowledge and strengths. It help the therapist to notice what works, what is most effective and how to be creative when working with clients.  It allows the therapist to strive for best practice in their therapeutic business.  Supervision helps maintain a professional approach, ethical boundaries, as well as appropriate accountability and care for clients.

How often is supervision needed?

This will vary according to your length of time in practice and which association you are a member of.  I personally feel once a month is good to keep you focused on what you should be doing.

Individual requirements can be discussed and arranged as appropriate.

Group supervision sessions are held once a month.

Supervision Fees:  £40.00

The above fee covers either 3 hours Group Supervision and telephone

support for the calendar month or  a one hour 1-1 Supervision session via Zoom or phone.

Using a solution-focused approach I work in partnership with therapists, building their strengths and resources.

Email me via the Contact form to request a supervision pack and a list of group supervision dates.

Along with fellow hypnotherapist Deborah Pearce, Nicola set up Therapists Marketing Solutions (TMS) to teach both newly qualified and experienced therapists how to market their businesses.

Having seen quite a few very good therapists fail in business, both Nicola and Debbie feel passionately that it's no good just being a good therapist, you have to know how to market your business in order to survive in these challenging times.

Click here: TMS for further details.
